Issue Two Preorder: $11

$11.00

ephemeral’s second issue explores the theme of “vessel”: stories about things that can hold and carry and transport: about bodies of humans, bodies of water, bodies of landscapes. It’s nearly 80 pages of poetry, photography, artwork, and storytelling, including:

  • Poetry exploring themes including cloud formations, pregnancy, what it means to hold each other, and a rabid bat bite by poets including Sophia Fisher, Kya Marienfeld, Miles Hart, Claire Player, and Olivia Holmes

  • An exploration of the feeling of the edge of the world by Christine Reed

  • Film photography by Sam Hodges

  • Letters from a raindrop in Green River by Kenny Fallon

  • A humorous q&a about diva cups by Nara Bopp

  • An ode to bathtubs and bathhouses by Alex Veilleux

  • Pages of a backpack’s diary by Ellen Meyer

  • A collage answering the question, “If you were a liquid in a vessel, what would you be?” by Jessie Shalvey

  • … and stories and artworks from over 35 contributors

Each issue costs around $11 to print; profits from the magazine are redistributed equally among our contributors!

This is a preorder! The issue will be ready for pickup in June.
