What we do:
Most of all, we seek to capture the feeling of sitting around a campfire and hearing a really, really good story. Storytelling is inevitable, unavoidable, and utterly necessary to build resilient, creative communities. It is a crucial catalyst for social change.
Through our newsletter, print magazine, workshops, gatherings, and pop-up projects, we aim to support artists and foster rural connection.
ephemeral magazine
Within the magazine we publish fiction, non-fiction, satire, and poetry writing; plus photography, illustration, collage, and other visual mediums; created by people who live in or often experience the Colorado Plateau. Each issue has a unique theme or creative spark.
We pay artists for their work and they maintain full copyright.
